To earn and keep awards all members of 4./JG 53 must survive and remain alive. Should a pilot die then all his awards and 'stats' will be reset. We fly 'dead is dead' - once dead anything and everything earned up to that point is dead as well.

Badges:

 Qualifcation Badges are permanently awarded irrespective of 'Dead is Dead'.

Awarded for surviving a Ghost Skies mission.

Awarded for destroying an enemy ground target.

Awarded for shooting down an enemy aircraft via defensive gunner.
